About Our TV Lifestyle Club
Players Theatre is a Resident Lifestyle Volunteer Club of The Villages with some 75 active members. We welcome any TV resident to join our club. Our major function is to produce plays and musicals that are performed in the various recreation centers of The Villages. There are no dues or fees to become a member; just show up and you can begin to participate! We do hold open-auditions for our productions, meaning that any TV resident may participate. Sometimes you win a role, sometimes not, but you can always participate by taking up roles backstage: building sets, helping with props, taking care of and operating our sound and lights equipment, working with costumes, make-up, and all sorts of other support role.
